Current Work

  1. Audio Signal Processing – At the Audiovisual Communications Laboratory (LCAV) in EPFL, I have been developing a platform for prototyping audio processing algorithms that uses an array of microphones. We are using the BeagleBone Black board with six microphones as hardware and developing the software in Python. I am also investigating different Direction of Arrival (DoA) estimation techniques. Here are slides on a few of such methods.
  2. Plane Wave Medical Ultrasound Imaging – Continuing my work with the Signal Processing Laboratory (LTS5) at EPFL, I am investigating methods to improve the quality of obtained images from plane wave insonifications. We are submitting our algorithm to the IEEE IUS 2016 Plane-wave Imaging Challenge in Medical UltraSound (PICMUS).
